Marielle Larson

Engagement Strategist

Marielle Larson is an engagement strategist focusing on water quality. She is currently leading regional collaboration and scientific workshops to help address technical uncertainties, advance modeling tools, and improve our collective understanding of nutrients and water quality challenges in the Salish Sea. Marielle is also interested in water reuse, stormwater, and climate resiliency.

Prior to joining Puget Sound Institute, Marielle led community outreach for municipalities and public agencies throughout the Sound at EnviroIssues. Marielle also previously managed PureBlue’s water technology accelerator, crowdsourced innovative technology solutions at XPRIZE, and facilitated large-scale change at Deloitte. She holds a BBA from the College of William and Mary with a minor in sociology.
