Hailey is an undergraduate research assistant for the University of Washington Tacoma Laboratory at the Center for Urban Waters. Hailey’s work supports ongoing research that seeks to understand and quantify the sources, pathways and impacts of chemical pollutants in urban waterways. She is experienced with mass spectrometry instruments and data processing, as well as laboratory and field work.
Hailey is currently studying Environmental Science: Geosciences at the University of Washington Tacoma and holds an Associate in Arts and Communications from the South Puget Sound Community College. After graduating in 2023, she plans to pursue a Ph.D. in Earth sciences, applying geochemical techniques to the field of paleoclimate/ paleoenvironmental research.
