The Center for Urban Waters hosts the 2013 University of Washington Water Symposium tomorrow, April 30th at the Seattle campus Husky Union Building. Themes this year include Water and Energy, Ocean Acidification and Climate Change and Adaptation.

The symposium features presentations and posters from Pacific Northwest scientists specializing in water-related research. Speakers include scientists from NOAA, the Pacific Northwest National Laboratory, NW National Marine Renewable Energy Center, Cascadia Consulting, EcoAdapt and the University of Washington.

Talks will be ongoing from 9 AM to 3:30, followed by a poster session and tools cafe from 3:30 to 5:00. For a full list of speakers and topics, visit the water symposium website.
