The Center for Urban Waters welcomes nine interns to kick off the second year of its summer internship program. Internships will include collaborations with several Puget Sound area organizations and programs, including the Puget Sound Institute, the Washington Stormwater Center, the Joint Institute of the Study of the Atmosphere and Ocean, and SoundCitizen. Projects will range from mapping and GIS work, to environmental chemistry and research into green building technologies. Interns are either currently enrolled students, or have recently graduated and will earn required college credits, and/or income.
