Communication: Connecting the science

Ready access to good scientific information builds collaboration, improves policy and is one of the first steps toward solving the Salish Sea’s most pressing problems. We bring the most relevant science to the people who need it. As part of this process, we prepare syntheses of emerging issues, conduct peer-reviews and hold study panels and workshops. We have created digital resources such as the Encyclopedia of Puget Sound — the region’s most comprehensive guide to the science of Salish Sea ecosystem recovery — and it’s why we produce trusted and independent journalism in our online magazine Salish Sea Currents.
