The Puget Sound Institute participates in the Implementation Strategy development process, including preparation of two Implementation Strategy technical appendices that provide programmatic and scientific information relevant to the strategies.
Base Program Analysis reports assess ongoing programs with potential to help regional partners operationalize Implementation Strategies. They are developed consistent with U.S. Environmental Protection Agency National Estuary Program guidance for base program analysis. Findings derived from funding program synthesis reports are a major data source for these evaluations.
