Puget Sound is calling: Download EoPS ringtones

The Encyclopedia of Puget Sound has ringtones! Download free mp3 calls of select Puget Sound species to your smartphone.

These ringtones feature sounds from species recorded around the Salish Sea by Puget Sound Institute Managing Editor Jeff Rice. They include some rare species– such as the threatened Western Gray Squirrel– and a not so rare invasive, the Nutria. Its dulcet ‘moo’ is a must for the phone of any aquatic biologist. We also have an obligatory Pacific Chorus Frog ‘ribbit’ and some nice regional bird sounds. We hope you enjoy them. We will continue to add new ringtones as time permits, so check back.
