New PSP science hires

Dave Peeler and Leska Fore have joined the Puget Sound Partnership’s science team to support the monitoring program.

Dave Peeler is a 30-year veteran in water quality, water resources, and shoreline management in Puget Sound.  Peeler was the Water Quality Program Manager and Special Assistant to the Director at the Department of Ecology. After retiring from Ecology, he also served as the Director of Programs for People for Puget Sound.

Leska Fore is a master statistician and organization development specialist with broad experience as a consultant for groups such as the EPA, U.S. Forest Service, and Florida Dept of Environmental protection. Locally, she has worked with the Puget Sound Monitoring Program’s Stormwater Work Group, King County DNR, and Kitsap County’s Surface and Stormwater Management Program. She is also an Associate Editor for the Journal of the North American Benthological Society.
